HFG Recieves Isuzu UK Dealership Community Award

Hunt Forest Group has recently been presented with the Isuzu Dealership Community Award, an honour bestowed at Isuzu UK’s annual Dealer Awards evening, held in Manchester on January 19th.

The dealership managed to win the award thanks to a hugely successful charity incentive, through which the team at Hunt Forest group managed to raise over an impressive £15,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The fundraiser was encouraged by HR Manager Chloe Fear and consisted of a 26-mile hike across the Jurassic Coast, walking from Weymouth to Lulworth Cove and then back again. The team of fifteen hikers promoted the fundraiser with help from their marketing team and using social media platforms, undoubtedly contributing to the amassment of charity funds for Macmillan. This valiant act was recognised by Isuzu UK, with the Dealership Community Award reflecting the brand’s appreciation for significant instances of community support.

Gareth Thomas, Isuzu Sales Manager, Hunt Forest Group said “Everyone at Hunt Forest Group was overjoyed that we were able to raise such a significant amount for Macmillan Cancer Support and inject some positivity in the community. We’re delighted to receive this award and hopefully, this will inspire further charity incentives for 2023.”

George Wallis, Head of Marketing said “Hunt Forest Group is extremely deserving of this year’s award thanks to the utterly outstanding charity contribution which was made to Macmillan Cancer Support. Acts of tremendous goodwill such as this reflect the positive values which we, as a brand, consider most important. Values like togetherness and loyalty should be present throughout the dealer network, which is exactly why Hunt Forest Group won this award. Congratulations!”

Chloe Fear, HR Manager at Hunt Forest Group said “Having done this hike previously, I knew it was going to be a challenge and a big commitment. Nevertheless, the team absolutely smashed it with an even better result than could have been imagined. Receiving the Dealership Community Award was the cherry on top of what turned out to be a brilliant fundraiser.”

Over 50 years on from its establishment in 1967, Hunt Forest Group joined the Isuzu UK network in 2010 at the Chilbolton depot and has since expanded to a total of three Isuzu showrooms, located at the Chilbolton, Blashford and Isle of Wight depots. The dealership specialises in new and used Isuzu pick-up sales, aftersales, servicing, and MOT work.
