HFG NORSE BOUND
We will be showcasing the Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 as we undertake an epic road trip expedition to Iceland, the land of fire and ice (and Arctic Trucks’ homeland). Along the way, we will test everything the AT35 has to offer, review equipment from our third-party sponsors and post regular travel diaries as we navigate across some of the country’s most rugged and beautiful landscapes.
We will be visiting some of Iceland’s most iconic locations, Waterfalls, Geysers, Glaciers, Beaches and more putting the AT35 through its paces in the ancestral homeland of Arctic Trucks, we are also hoping for a view of the fabled Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights.

WHAT IS HFG NORSE BOUND?
Gareth has always wanted to undertake an epic road trip, but never had the perfect off-road vehicle to cope with any eventuality, until now!
The Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 harnesses over 32 years of continual development and re-engineering. It is inspired by the harshest and most extreme conditions on earth. Meaning the AT35 is no ordinary pick-up, it’s designed to conquer the toughest of extremes.
Throughout Show season last year whilst pitched up around the campfire next to his trusty D-Max and Rooftop tent Gareth hatched his plan. A trip of epic proportions, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the land of fire and ice – the open road, one truck, 10 countries and over 5000 miles by land and sea- HFG Norse Bound was born.
With the launch of the AT35 naturally, we have been asked some questions about the differences between the V-Cross and the AT35, and what better way of finding out the answer than first hand ourselves? We want to show the AT35 in its natural habitat as we explore without limits. We have kitted out our demonstrator AT with various extra accessories that we may need along the way. We will be focusing on all the key features and functionality of the new pick-up and reviewing these alongside our added extras to give our customers a comprehensive look at what we can offer both on the road and what additional equipment we recommend.

WHO ARE THE EXPEDITION TEAM
Gareth Thomas our Isuzu & Arctic Trucks Sales Manager will be the head of the expedition and will be joined for the first leg of the journey by his brother-in-law. Martin Clay our Group Marketing Manager will then fly out to Iceland to join Gareth for the second leg before Gareth makes the third leg return on his own.
Gareth sets off in the HFG AT35 in the early hours of Thursday 16th March, he will arrive in Iceland on Tuesday 21st March returning on Monday 3rd April.
Alongside some stunning visuals of Iceland, we will be featuring some of Gareth’s video diaries. With multiple sponsors on board, we will be reviewing their equipment along the way in some of the harshest environments we come across.
We will be posting regularly on our main Social Media pages, but there are also the ‘HFG Isuzu’ Facebook & Instagram pages which will have more candid daily content.
