About the Role
No two days are the same in this exciting role. You will be out and about visiting existing customers and selling them new and used turfmachinery and services. Not only this but you will also be focused on selling and promoting our Club Car brand and taking a strategic role in the business to develop the brand in our area of responsibility. Building strong customer relationships is key to success, not just with existing customers, but also whilst introducing new customers to the business too. You will be proactive and a self-starter, capable of working strategically within your area of influence.
In terms of location, you can be based at any one of our Green Ore, Nether Stowey orDorchester depots but must be willing to cover the West Country region.
Essential Duties
Be the Brand Specialist for Club Car for the group, helping the team develop and grow sales across our territory.
Represents the Dealership in the sale ofClub Car & John Deereturf and machineryto customers in a defined sales areas.
Executes all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance in conjunction with the sales tools available from John Deere, Club Car and other manufacturers.
Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services potentially saleable by the dealership and attends relevant sales training events.
Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
Monitors competitor activity and products and communicates to the sales Management accordingly.
Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
Executes goods delivery and follow up, according to CSR. Builds strong and loyal relationships with defined sales area customers.
Monitors trends in customers’ business activities and timely communicates to management.
Attends trade shows to promote and sell machinery.
Skills & Qualifications
1+ years’ sales experience
Good knowledge of turf equipment and/orthe golfing industry would be advantageous
Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions & sales tools
Familiar with John Deere, Club Car and competitive products would be advantageous
Ability to analyse and interpret internal reports
Excellent customer relationship skills
Excellent attitude with integrity and honesty
