KRAMER IMPRESSES AT EUROTIER/ENERGYDECENTRAL WITH INNOVATIONS AND INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY
20/11/2024
Kramer presented itself at this year’s EuroTier/EnergyDecentral in Hanover with an impressive portfolio of innovations and proven machines. The focus was on the new telescopic handler KT316 with integrated, dynamic weighing system and the compact wheel loader KL21.5L. In addition, visitors to the trade fair were able to marvel at a selection from the Kramer product portfolio, including wheel loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telehandlers.
KT316 with integrated dynamic weighing system sets new standards
One highlight of the trade fair appearance was the KT316 telehandler, which was awarded the DLG Gold Medal at EnergyDecentral. The KT316 impressed with its integrated dynamic weighing system, which increases efficiency and precision when handling material. The telehandler lifts up to 3,100 kilograms to a maximum stacking height of 5.83 metres. The Deutz engine with a maximum power output of 82 kW / 112 hp ensures that the machine is highly agile and performs well. The extensive standard equipment includes, among other things, a maximum speed of 40 km/h, a reversible fan with automatic function and four steering modes with automatic synchronisation.
The new wheel loader KL21.5L: power in compact format
The second new product on the Kramer stand was the wheel loader KL21.5L, which was specially developed for the needs of agricultural businesses. The KL21.5L combines maximum performance with a compact design and is ideal for working in confined spaces. With a vehicle width of just 1.32 metres, the KL21.5L is perfect for narrow farm tracks or stables. The optional maximum tyres, which are 400 millimetres wide, ensure high stability on soft ground and in narrow stables. Thanks to the unique loading system, the machine has an impressive lifting force of 28.6 kN and a tear-out force of 33.1 kN, as well as a tipping load of 2,115 kilograms, which enables even heavy loads, such as silage bales or fertiliser pallets, to be handled safely.
Depending on the customer’s needs, the KL21.5L offers two engine variants: the wheel loader is equipped with a 19-kilowatt engine as standard, with a 33-kilowatt engine optionally available that enables a top speed of up to 30 km/h. There is also a choice of two fully fledged cab variants – a comfort cab with a height of 2.26 metres and a low cab with 2.11 metres for maximum compactness. Both cabs offer excellent all-round visibility and ergonomically arranged controls that ensure simple and intuitive operation.
Thanks to the undivided vehicle frame, high level of stability, manoeuvrability and constant payload, the machine is easy and safe to operate. In addition, the KL21.5L offers three different steering modes – all-wheel steering, crab steering and front-wheel steering – which make manoeuvring easier even in difficult situations.
Another highlight of the new wheel loader is the standard quick hitch system, which is also used in the next larger models. For the customer, this means that existing attachments can be used even more flexibly. The fully hydraulic quick hitch system, Smart Attach, is optionally available, which enables quick and safe changing of hydraulic attachments without the operator having to leave the cab. This innovative function saves time, increases safety and productivity and is unique in this machine class.
With the new KL21.5L, Kramer is setting new standards in safety, performance and operating comfort in a compact format.
High-quality machine portfolio for versatile applications
Another highlight of the trade fair was the wheel loader KL37.8T, equipped with the fully hydraulic quick-hitch system Smart Attach, which is now integrated as standard in the new 8 series from Kramer. The models in the series (KL36.8, KL38.8, KL41.8, KL43.8, KL33.8T and KL37.8T) combine efficiency, fuel savings and modern technology that are tailored to the high demands of agricultural practice. Depending on the model, tipping loads range from 3,650 to 4,250 kilograms, and all machines are equipped with a 55 kW / 75 hp Deutz engine. An even more powerful 74.4 kW / 100 hp engine is optionally available for the KL41.8, KL43.8 and KL37.8T, which is designed for the most demanding applications. The innovative drive system with four selectable driving modes (Power, Eco, Road, CSD) enables optimal adaptation to different work requirements – from stacking and sweeping work to mucking out – and supports fuel efficiency.
The telehandler portfolio with the models KT144e, KT407 and KT559 was also represented on site. The range here extends from a stacking height of 4 to 10 metres and a payload of 1.4 to 5.5 tonnes, so that Kramer offers the right machine for every need and application.
