NEW FOR 2024, OUR NIR SENSING DEMO TANKER FULLY EQUIPPED WITH HARVESTLAB 3000TM

This year we are running a demo slurry tanker with a flow meter and Harvest Lab 3000 attached.

We have equipped a 3000Gl NC vacuum slurry tanker, with tandem steering axle, four fill points for both six and eight inch pipes, top fill hatch, and a quick mount 12m dribble bar on the back.

The main attraction of this demo unit is the integrated John Deere HarvestLab 3000 NIR Constituent sensor. This impressive piece of technology kit measures live constituents (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, etc.)  of the slurry being applied in the field, giving the operator real time data as to what they are applying on a field. And using AutoTrac TIM (Tractor Implement Management), the HarvestLab can even control the forward speed of the tractor to apply a fixed rate of a selected constituent (eg. Nitrogen)

ADDING VALUE TO YOUR SLURRY

Traditionally slurry is applied at a fixed rate, “a load an acre”, without knowing the value of what is being put down. With the data from the HarvestLab 3000, slurry now has value. This allows our customers to make informed decisions on slurry applications, in line with artificial fertiliser plans to make actual savings.

The HarvestLab used on the slurry tanker is the same unit that can be used on a forager, as a stationary unit, or on a combine. We can also retrofit the HarvestLab to a wide variety of slurry tankers, umbilical systems and self-propel slurry applicators.
