Salary: £29,000 – £37,000 DOE + Overtime
Location: Chilbolton (Stockbridge, Hampshire)
Job time: Full time/permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week) + additional hours during busy seasonal periods

Our business is experiencing an exciting period of growth. As a result, we are looking for a Precision Ag Support Specialist and Demonstrator. Ideally you will have either a farming and/or mechanical background and be passionate about the industry, Knowledge of tractors, harvesting equipment, application equipment, telehandlers and precision technology products would be an advantage, but comprehensive training will be offered to the right person.
John Deere continues to be leaders in the world of technology, and as part of this role you will be at the forefront of this, we currently support many semi-autonomous tractors, driven by highly skilled operators, we take the next step with combine technology in harvest 2025 and our technology journey continues in an upward direction.
Your organisation skills will be second to none, plus you will be a real people person and enjoy conversing with a diverse customer base. The fact that you will be able to travel is a bonus to you as you will appreciate the variety that this type of role provides across our 7 branches.

About the role:
- Supporting both sales staff and customers with our range of John Deere and other franchised products.
- Demonstrating, installing and offering a high level of product support.
- Perform pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.
- Participate in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Supports the Sales team throughout the sales process, from demonstration to sale to installation and optimisation visits.
- Consults customers on optimizing performance, reducing costs, operation efficiencies, etc.
- Organizes John Deere training clinics and other franchised training sessions for customers and dealer personnel.
- Develops and maintains subject matter expert relations with key stakeholders and key prospect customers.
- Manages on-going relationships with key John Deere personnel.
- Performs any other tasks when required.
Relevant Skills/Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices.
- Familiar with competitive products.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- IT skills would be beneficial.
